| Mike Willbanks HOMETOWN: White Oak, TX OCCUPATION: Production Assistant, Texanol Department (25+ yrs) INSTRUMENTS: Drums (a little Bass guitar – a long time ago) BACKGROUND: ...no formal music lessons just learned and play by ear ...Started out playing Bass when I was 23 then changed over to drums ...Played in a few different bands over the years with the longest time being in “Full Circle”. ...played in a few clubs, Alley Fest two years and Louisiana State Fair one year. Quit playing for about 9 years to concentrate on being full time single Dad. PREFERENCES: I enjoy all types of music, but usually listen to alternative rock and blues rock (and occasionally classic rock, or progressive country). THOUGHTS: I’m very thankful for the opportunity to get back into playing. Especially for the opportunity to do so with such a great bunch of guys. |
