| Stephen Pritchett HOMETOWN: Born & raised in Longview, TX OCCUPATION: Operations Computer Specialist, Specialty Polymers Dept.(15 yrs). INSTRUMENTS: Drums BACKGROUND: Started playing drums and percussion while in Jr. High Band. Kept playing through marching seasons and through concert seasons. Started experimenting with trap set in High School. I love to hear and see videos of Neil Peart (RUSH) who I think is the greatest drummer I've ever seen. PREFERENCES: I have a wide array of tastes. Since I grew up in the 70's and 80's, you can imagine the differences! I like Boston, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray, Cream, ZAPP, ZZ Top, Scorpions, James Brown, Nickelback, Creed, Foreigner, Journey, & Rush just to name a few. I like Rock, Hard Rock, Progressive, Techno, R&B, Alternative, & even some early Rap. Country is my least favorite. THOUGHTS: I always wanted to be in a band when I was a kid, maybe we all did at some point, but thanks to Phil Soape for giving me the opportunity to fulfill a past dream. I think music is understood by all, and giving people happiness from it makes playing worth while. |
